tisci has created a futuristic set of neo-transformers, cut with fluorescence and shielded in white armour. the dresses are assembled with machinery-like detail, in true givenchy form, with precise tailoring and strong shapes, which i am sure is completely mindblowing in person. he has constructed an exquisite army of royally clad models, sporting enormous helmets reminiscent of asian video games. also, the phenomenal casting (featuring shu pei qin, du juan, hye park, etc) really brings the murakami-meets-empress-of-china feeling to another level. another job extremely well done riccardo.
