a new year, a new decade, a new paris vogue?

with carine out the door, the question hangs in the air: who will take over paris vogue? titillating rumours whirl about, with whispers of emmanuelle alt, virginie mouzat, marie-amelie sauvé, alyona doletskaya... all tiptoeing through everyone's brains.
how will la vie en vogue survive sans carine? will it die down and wither away into a tastless oblivion? will controversial editorials be transformed into bland spreads with practical footwear and forgettable sweater sets? what about lara's omnipresent breasts? do we foresee a, gasp, absence of nudity?! say it isn't so!
don't panic. i really dont see paris vogue changing all that much. to be honest, all the credible candidates have a similar aesthetic consisting in majority of black, sharply spiked heels, slim legs, and slicked in a patina of sexy androgyny. not to mention it would be a most horrendous move to try and overhaul an iconic magazine with such a loyal following.
either way, im excited to see the subtles ways in which it will be altered, and the slight tinges of novelty that will inevitably come with a new editor in chief.
