In addition, there were only two players on the field who were also on the field the first time. Magglio was in RF both times, and Brandon Inge was on 3rd both times.
Also an interesting note was that the same Milwaukee Brewers team also had a no-hitter of their own going until the 8th inning at the exact same time while Justin was in his bid for his 2nd. An odd coincidence.
One final number: Justin becomes the 30th player in history to pitch 2 no-hitters, the 2nd such player to do so while wearing a Tigers uniform. Virgil Trucks also pitched two no-no's while wearing the Olde English D. (Both came in 1952). Trucks is the oldest living person who has thrown a no-hitter in MLB.
