Lesson 1: Create a Club Blogger Account

The first step in creating a Club Blog in Blogger is to create a Blogger account. Remember that you want to create a generic club administrator account to ensure continuity between different individuals who may serve as the Club webmaster throughout the years.


To create a Blogger account:

1. In your web browser, go to http://www.blogger.com.  This will open:
   
   
   
   
   
2. In the "Sign in" area, use your club Google Gmail account to sign in.
3. Complete the registration information and click the "Continue" arrow.
   
   
   
   
   
4. This will create your Blogger account and open your Blogger dashboard.
   
   
   
   
   
5. Your next task before creating a blog, is to create a profile for your club account.  The purpose of this is to provide some basic information to readers of the blog.  Click the "Edit Profile" link.
6. In the "Edit Profile" page, add the absolute minimum information for your club account.  In this case I provided basic identification information.
   
   
   
   
   Scroll to the bottom of this page adding additional information that you deem necessary and choose to save the profile when you are done.
